The Indian Council Act of 1892, empowered them to discuss the budget and address questions to the executives. B, portfolio system was established in 1859 but it was formally recognized by the Indian Council Act of 1861. Which of the following year Lord Canning established the “portfolio” system. C) It established the secretary of state with 25 members council. B) It abolished the Board of Control and Court of Directors and ended the double government.
