Overview

The Dhaulagiri Mountain is acquaintance as paramount of the Annapurna province among the presence of other ideal mountains. Mount Dhaulagiri is the great chemistry of two names, Dhavala and Giri and the both names expound as, Dhavala is celebrated for ‘White’ and Giri is for ‘Mountain pinnacle’. Perhaps, according to its name and fame Expedition to Dhaulagiri is charisma for the entire expeditions.

Dhaulagiri expedition is world’s seventh highest mountain and one of the most popular and bravura among its chum 8000 high peaks. Dhaulagiri Expedition is to be found on the north-west of Pokhara and south-west of Tibet & Nepal border’ Dhaulagiri Expedition along with Annapurna massif forms world’s deepest canyon of ‘Kali-Gandaki’. Ever since Dhaulagiri Expedition was first conquered by the Swiss team in 1960 via the North East Ridge, it’s almost every mountaineer’s castle in the sky to ascend its peak. Dhaulagiri has almost six different routes for climb; the normal route offers a reasonable climb with less technical ascending sections and moderate avalanche risks.

Climbers usually follow the northeastern ridge to conquer Mt. Dhaulagiri, although some climbers have used other routes as well. Even before reaching the base camp at about 4700 meters, the climbers need to traverse the challenging French Pass (5360m). But you can kiss the mountaintop only after establishing five other camps at different altitudes.

While we try our level best to follow through the itinerary, the adventure travel in the remote mountain region is unpredictable and involves high risk. Therefore, our expedition leader has power to amend the itinerary if he thinks it’s necessary due to safety concerns.
