HIGHLIGHTS
Chomolhari Trekking is a very well-known trek into northwestern Bhutan that passes scattered hamlets, forested valleys and high alpine meadows where Yak herders live in solitude. This trek beginning from Paro and spending a day at the Chomolhari base camp at alt. 4090 meter / 13,415 ft. crossing the highest point of the trek, Nyile La Pass at an elevation of 4890 meters / 16,040 ft. will make a turn from Lingshi Dzong to Thimphu the capital city. During the trek the beauty of the landscape with Snowcapped Mountains, and valleys dotted with varieties of alpine flowers, herds of wild animals such as Takin, Blue Sheep and musk deer are memories that will enchant you forever. It also includes sightseeing of a day each in the picturesque Valley of Thimphu and Paro.
