Nar Phu valley Trek is one of the newly opened (In 2003) trekking routes in Annapurna region. The Nar and Phu valley Trek takes you to a remote Nepalese village inhabited by Nepalese Tibetans who depends on livestock. Trekkers can enjoy from its scenic beauty of quaint Tibetans villages and its culture and hospitable behaviors, narrows canyons, picturesque forests and panoramic views of snow capped mountains, astounding rock formation, high altitude grazing settlement.

It is regarded as relatively strenuous trek which takes you at the altitude of 5240 m. This trail follows the path to explore quaint Tibetans villages of Nar Phu valley, kang la Pass, Tilicho Lake, Mesokanta La Pass that the Kali Gandaki and Manang valley.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative and driver meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designed hotel. The representative will help you check into your hotel. At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Katmandu

Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The Kathmandu valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning after having breakfast, you will be guided to visit famous and biggest Hindus Pashupatinath temple, Buddha stupa, Swoyambhunath and in the afternoon having lunch you will visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square.

Day 03: Drive to BesiSahar

This day is important to you because your trek starts from today. In the morning after having the breakfast, you will be driven on tourist private vehicle to BesiSahar which is located 180 km far from the capital city Kathmandu, in Lamjung district in the western north direction. You will reach BesiSahar after around 6 hours drive from Kathmandu. On the way you can enjoy with the beautiful scenic hills, forest, rivers, local villages and towns.

 Day 04: Trek to Khudi

This is the first day to start the trek from Besisahar, leaving the Besisahar you follow the path of the village and descending the narrow path to the Pam Khola, Denauti with its traditional read mud houses. You will move ahead by seeing the picturesque views of Marshyangdi River, forests and the Gurung village at Khudi.

Day 05: Trek to Bahundanda

Your destination for today is Bahundanda – the literally means “Brahmins hills” where this hills is mostly inhabitated by Brahmins. As you move away from Khudi, you can catch and see the magnificent Annapurna mountain ranges. Besides that, this trail offers you variety of interesting place and rural villages. On the way you will enjoy with terraced field, waterfall, dense forests and rivers. Finally you reach Bahundanda, where you will be accommodated.

Day 06: Trek to Jagat [1290m]

Leaving Jagat, you will walk descend until it reaches the river. This route follows the path that consists of lush forest, waterfall, rivers, landscape, hills and some village also where you can observe the village.

Day 07: Trek to Dharapani

This is the seventh day of your trekking. Today, as yesterday we walk descend until it reaches the river, further ascent leads to sharp-edged cliff facing the riverbank. En route, Chyamje comes into picture amidst the glorious backdrop of towering Annapurna mountain ranges. On treading along a succession of rock-strewn trails, you descend to a grassy riverbank that leads to Tal and Karte we finally reach Dharapani after crossing a suspension bridge. 

Day 08: Trek to Narphu valley first camp

This trail follows the narrow path to reach the Narphu village where you see the Annapurna II ahead. Taking the fun with Marshyangdikhola and other river with different scenic place and their interesting background give you full of enjoyment.

Day 09: Trek to SinhengeDharamsala

Moving from the Narphu valley first camp, you will walk on small jungle path which is quite change from bigger trail around Annapurna.For the whole day to reach the SinhengeDharamsala by passing the Choto, Nar Phu Kola.

Day 10:  Trek to Upper Chaku Village

This day the trek begins by crossing MethangKhola with taking breath taking climb on the path to the Methang pasture then you will pass the Methang village, Kang Guru village and finally you will reach at Chaku village.

Day 11: Trek to Phu Village

As previously this day begins with a hard steep ascent to the abandoned Kyan village, where there is a nice long mani wall an amazing carved rocky path and then decent to riverbed and pass some Mani Chrotens and finally you will there i.e. Phu village which is small village of about 30 houses
Day 12:  Rest day in Phu Village 

Today is rest day you spend your entire day taking complete rest as acclimatization to gain altitude, planning for forthcoming trips and getting habituated to your trekking destinations.

Day 13: Trek to Naar Campsite

You must go back down the valley to reach the Naar. For this you pass Chaku, PhuKhola and you will get to NaarComposite.

Day 14: Trek to Kang La Phedi

Today you climb to Naar village with continuous walk on a long but gentle ascent through the lateral moraine of TemdenzonKhola, on a nice path then you will reach Kang La Phedi where your accommodation will be made.

Day 15: Trek to Munje

This day is very tough for you because the trail is difficult, long and ascent  but very rewarding. To get the Munje you have to cross Kang La, Chorten where you can catch the picture of great Himalayas, massif, grassy path of Ngawal, forests. After that, finally you reach the Munje. Accommodation will be managed in Munje. 

Day 16: Trek to Manang

Today you will leave Munje and start the trek to reach the Manang. When you move ahead you pass cultivated fields appear on both sides of the, you can see the village of Braga with its splendid monastery, Himalayan range like Annapurna II , Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna, and Tilicho peak.

Day 17: Trek to Letdar

This day you will leave Manang after completing the acclimatization & the trail makes an ascent of nearly 2000m to the Thorung La pass. You make the climb steadily through Tenki, leaving the Marsyangi Valley and JarsangKhola Valley then you will reach Ledar.

Day 18: Trek to ThorungPhedi

Leaving Letdar, you will follow the path as ascent gradually to a ridge before descending to the headwaters of the Marshyangdi; you will follow a narrow trail across an unstable steep slope and then descend to ThorungPhedi. 

Day 19: Trek to Muktinath

Thorang La (5,416 m), an unforgettable experience, is clearly the climax of our Annapurna Circuit trek. You will be huffing and puffing, and at the same time exulting in the experience you will be rewarded with the actual religious site of Muktinath& this area is kept free of hotels and camping sites. Muktinath is a pilgrimage center for Buddhists and Hindus. There we can see Tibetan traders as well as sadhus from the far south of India. There are shrines in a grove of trees including a Buddhists gompa& the Vishnu temple of Jwalamai.


Day 20: Trek to Jomsom

Muktinath temple is one of most important destination for Hindus pilgrimage and Buddhists. In the morning, you will visit the Muktinath Temple, the Lord Vishnu. There is also a Buddhist Monastery nearby. You can see the magnificent views of Dhaulagiri peak from Muktinath. From Muktinath, we continue back to Jomsom.




Day 21: Flight to Pokhara and half day sightseeing

After having breakfast you can check in the airport to fly back to Pokhara, a 30-min flight to Pokhara between gorge of the two huge mountains, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. On the arrival at Pokhara airport, your guide will transfer to the designed hotel. In afternoon, you will visit Fewa Lake, Barahi temple, Bindabasini temple and David falls.


Day 23: Half day in Pokhara and fly back to Kathmandu

In the early morning, you will be taken to Sarangkot which very popular sunrise view point of Pokhara. You can see and catch the wonderful sunrise views, then you will return back to Pokhara to continue your tour around the Pokhara valley. You will visit Mahendra cave, Gupteshwor cave, Tibetan refugee camp, international mountain museum. In the late afternoon, you can check in the Pokhara airport to fly back to Kathmandu/ you another alternative to go to Kathmandu via tourist vehicle. 

Day 22: Depart Kathmandu

After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take to the airport for your flight home.Or if you want to stay longer for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, and mountain biking, hiking, etc. do not forget to inform us.
