Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative and driver meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designed hotel. The representative will help you check into your hotel. At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The Kathmandu valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning after having breakfast, you will be guided to visit famous and biggest Hindus Pashupatinath temple, Buddha stupa, Swoyambhunath and in the afternoon having lunch you will visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square.
Day 03: Fly to Tumlingtar and trek to Kartikighat
This day after having breakfast, you have a flight to Tumlingtar in eastern region, the starting point of your trek through Arun valley and landing on a steep mountain runway brings us to the start of your trek at the village of Tumlingtar]. When you are in aircraft you can enjoy by seeing the panoramic sights of great Himalayas of Nepal including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt, Makalu (8,463m), Mt, Cho Oyu (8153m), Mt. Lhotse (8,501m) and Mt. Lhotse Shar (8,393m),Kanchenjunga, Gaurishankar, Ganesh, Langtang etc., terraced land field, hills, forests, beautiful traditional villages. After reaching Tumlingtar, you will trek up to kartikighat.
Day 04: Trek to Gothe Bazaar
Today you start your trek by visiting village of Balwa Besi, where you cross a small river, lush, tropical forests, Arun river, Marduwa, a small hamlet village & soon you pass more terraced fields and clusters of ochre and cream mud-brick houses built in the local style, Nepali Danda, Irkhuwa river finally you will reach Gothe bazaar which inhabitated by mix of Gurung and Rai communities.
Day 05: Trek to Salpa Phedi
After having breakfast you will move towards Lankuwa village and then further on to Dhobani, a village of paper-makers en route to Salpa Phedi. You leave Goethe Bazaar by crossing the stream, and soon pass many thatched huts. You will pass through Lankuwa village and then you continue to hiking another hour uphill on a lovely hill-side trail backed by undulating grasses rocks and fruit trees until you reach the sprawling settlement of Salpa Phedi for overnight.
Day 06: Trek to Guranse
Today you will climb through the many dwellings of upper Salpa Phedi, and then keep climbing with increasingly amazing views down the valley. It will take us several hours of climbing to reach Jau Bari, a village where they grow the best barley in the region and where there is a Sherpa gompa (monastery) just below a lovely Sherpa-run campsite. You will go through terraced fields, rhododendron forests to Salpa Lake just past the small 'Guranse La' to Gurasne or Chayaksila.
Day 07: Trek to Sanam via Guranse
Leaving Guranse, you will follow the path to reach Sanam. On the way you will pass The Salpa Bhanjyang - is the border of Solu Khumbu and the Sherpa region and you have wonderful views of snow-capped Karylung Peak, Lidung Khola and the traditional Sherpa villages, terraced land fields.
Day 08: Trek to Gudel
Leaving pleasant Sanam you contour along a high trail with broad views first we reaching Duire (Tiu), a group of simple lodges, Rustic Gompa, and then you will reach the Rai village at Gudel which is large and very interesting bustling traditional village.
Day 09: Trek to Kiraunle Gompa
From Gudel, You will go ahead to Kiraunla Gompa. This day you will hike for long time than other days but it will be very interesting because you will go through beautiful forests and terraced land fields, Rai villages and schools. Then you will reach your final destination for today - Kiraunle where Chamaling Gompa is located.
Day 10: Trek to Sibuje
From Kiraunle, today you have another pass Surkie la pass to reach Sibuje where you can reach after three hours. There are better views at the sightseeing platform just above the narrow 'pass' ridge where you’ll be able to see Karylung, Khatang and Numbur Mountain so head up for a look.
Day 11: Trek to Pangum
Today is another fantastic day because you will climb najina Dingma and descend through Gai Kharka, several villages. Imja Khola. On the way to Pangum you have Mera Peak looming in front of you. After of some hours of walk you will reach Pangum la pass the Sherpa villages. Pangum now has a few quite nice lodges, Hillary school, fields marked by wooden fences and a Tibetan Buddhist gompa off to the northern side of the village. You'll have a fantastic sunset out over the wide open valley with Karylung rising majestically in front of us across the Dudh Koshi.
Day 12: Trek to Painya
Leaving Pangum, you will head to Painya by passing the long rows of old Mani walls. You look out at hilltop villages of Buspa and Karikhola, Khari la pass. It will take us a good hour and a half of contouring and climbing to crest the pass at 3,075m meters but the views are amazing from the top. You have first view of the sacred Sherpa peak, Khumbu Yul Lha (Khumbila), Gyachen Kang and then Kusum Kangaru just around the corner
Day 13: Trek Lukla
Today after having breakfast you will follow the path to reach Lukla. On the way you have beautiful scenery of mountains, hills, forests, rivers, traditional villages etc.
Day 14: Trek to Phakding
From Lukla, you will trek to Phakding. The walk from Lukla to Phakding is gradual and has few ups and downs on the way. You would have a superb view of Kusum-Kangru, while you are crossing the short suspension bridge on your way. After a short climb, you would reach the Ghat village and another one and a half hours of gradual walk brings you to Phakdng village.
Day 15: Trek to Namche
Leaving Phakding, you will cross and re-cross the river on high suspension bridges, Monjo- the entrance to the Sagarmatha National Park which was set-up in order to protect and preserve the fragile mountain environment. You follow the path to get Namche which is the major trading village in Khumbu region. If the weather is clear, you get the first glimpse of Mt Everest.
Day 16: Rest day in Namche
Today is rest day. You will spend your entire day in Namche by taking complete rest as acclimatization to gain altitude, planning for forthcoming trips and getting habituated to your trekking destinations. To acclimatize, you visit Khunde Hospital which was set up by Sir Edmund Hillary, Everest view Hotel for sunset views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam.
Day 17: Trek to Thyangboche
This day from Namche, the trail follows the path to the side of the valley, high above the Dudh Koshi. You will get first really good views of the great peaks of the Khumbu including Mt Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Ama Dablam. As you descend, you will pass several Sherpa villages and tea shops. You hike to reach Thyangboche by following the zigzag path which offers awesome sights of rhododendron bushes with beautiful birds and superb mountain scenery. Finally, you get Thyangboche which is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu.
Day 18: Trek to Pheriche
Today from Thyangboche you will descend downhill through the forests and by crossing the Imja Khola. Then trail follows the uphill path to the village of Pangboche which is directly opposite Mt. Ama Dablam [6,856 m]. You can enjoy with the views of mountains, forest, gompa, rivers etc. After two hours of walking you will get your last destination for today.
Day 19: Rest day in Pheriche
Today again is a rest day, you will spend your entire day taking complete rest as acclimatization to gain altitude, planning for forthcoming trips and getting habituated to your trekking destinations. On this day, you can climb up onto ridge overlooking for the view of Mt. Lhotse and Imja Valley.
Day 20: Trek to Lobuche
From Pheriche you will trek up to Lobuche by passing the wide valley, Khumbu glacier and several tea houses. Besides this, you can catch the pictures of magnificent views of Cholatse and Tawache.
Day 21: Trek to Gorak Shep
Your last destination for today is Gorak Shep. To reach Gorak Shep you will pass Kala Pattar and Khumbu glaciers, superb views of surrounding mountains. After about 3 hours of walking you will reach Gorak Shep which is the base for Everest Base Camp.
Day 22: Trek to Everest BC , back to Gorak Shep
A very early start is required to reach the Everest Base Camp. It takes several hours as the trail weaves its way through ice pinnacles and past the crevasses of the Khumbu Glacier. On the return leg, you can take a higher route to get a spectacular view of the Khumbu icefall and the route to the South Col.
Day 23: Trek to Pangboche
This day you follow the path to get Pangboche village by downhill walking. After some hours of walking you will reach Himalayan Rescue Association (HRA). After visiting HRA you will go ahead to Pangboche by passing Khumbu Khola, Imja Khola and suspension bridge.
Day 24: Trek to Namche
From Pangboche your trek continue to Namche by following the river, rhododendron forests and the Himalaya views of Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Kantega and Thamserku.
Day 25: Trek to Lukla
This is your final day’s trek which follow the path to Dudh Koshi to reach Lukla. After reaching Lukla in the evening, you have a time to enjoy with Sherpa guides and porters by taking local drinks.
Day 26: Flight to Kathmandu
After having breakfast you can check in the airport to fly back to Kathmandu. At the Kathmandu airport, your guide will transfer to the designed hotel. In the evening you have free time for refreshment and shopping etc.
Day 27: Depart Kathmandu
After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take to the airport for your flight home. Or if you want to stay longer for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, and mountain biking, hiking, etc. do not forget to ask us.
