Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative and driver meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designed hotel. The representative will help you check into your hotel. At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.
Day 02: Sightseeing in Kathmandu valley
Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The Kathmandu valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning after having breakfast, you will be guided to visit famous and biggest Hindus Pashupatinath temple, Buddha stupa, Swoyambhunath and in the afternoon having lunch you will visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square.
Day 03: Drive to Beni
This day you will reach Beni. For this you can either fly to Pokhara or then drive to Beni which is 82km far from Pokhara. Or, if you wish, you can drive to Beni directly from Kathmandu via Pokhara, which takes about 8-9 hours. The Drive passes through the mountains, villages and cities, forests, along the banks of Trishuli and Marsyangi River to Pokhara. Further drive from Pokhara to Beni, you have several mountains with the magnificent views of Annapurna Himalayas. Driving further along the banks of Mardi River, and Kaligandaki you will reach Beni, the capital of Myagdi district.
Day 04: Trek to Babichaur
Actually, your trek begins from today. After having breakfast you continue your trekking along the Kali Gandaki River heading towards Myagdi khola by crossing the suspension bridges. The trail passes the villages of Mangalghat, Singa, and Tatopani before reaching at Babichaur.
Day 05: Trek to Dharapani
This day you have a wide, smooth and graveled until you reach Darbang. On the way you will pass small town, forests of rhododendron, and several villages. Finally you will reach Dharapani which is quite a big village with traditional but big houses made of thatched straw, wood, tin and other materials found on the mountain itself. The local peoples are very hospitable.
Day 06: Trek to Muri
Leaving Dharapani, you will descend and walking through villages, you will cross a suspension bridge over the river which from there the trail turns uphill. You will follow the gentle ascending path to reach Muri – the small village. If the weather is clear, you can get a glimpse of Manapathi peak and the whole Dhaulagiri range.
Day 07: Trek to Boghara
Today you will Trek up to Boghara (2080m). You will follow the path to descend on a rocky stream towards terraced fields to Dhora Khola and then you will climb up the mountainside to Ghoban dhara. On the way you can see Ghutsung south (6465m).
Day 08: Trek to Dhobang
The trail first descends through terraced fields to a small ridge and then through a forest to Jyardan which is the most remote permanent settlement in these parts. After the settlement a high winding path crosses a rocky area and then descends before climbing again to Lipshe where there is on single hut. The trail continues through a forest to Lapche Kharka and then climbs to the level area at Dhobang (2520m).
Day 09: Trek to Italian Base camp
From today, begins the real adventure. You will walk around 6 – 7 hours. The trail goes along the raging Myagdi khola. Soon, cross the bridge and climb steeply through bamboo and old growth forests. You will cross two sections where part of the trail has been washed away by landslides. Here you may see langurs jumping around in the trees. Finally you will reach Italian Base Camp.
Day 10: Rest & Acclimatization day
Today is a rest a day as an acclimatization day at the Italy Base Camp. Or, you have the option to climb a small ridge to the American Base Camp. Though the main summit of Dhaulagiri isn't visible however you will get up-close views of the big massif.
Day 11: Trek to Glacier camp
Moving from Italian Base Camp you will trek up to Glacier camp. The trail is bit prone to stone fall, and pass through a narrow gorge.
. Day12: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base camp
This is day is one of the most adventurous days that lead s to Dhaulagiri base camp which the best spot for beautiful views of north face of Dhaulagiri I (8167m) dominates the skyline to your right and Dhaulagiri II (7751m), Dhaulagiri III (7715m) and Dhaulagiri V (7618m) are visible on the west side. Day 13: Acclimatization day
Today is a rest day at Dhaulagiri base Camp in order to acclimatize. You can hike around the base camp that offers the superb views of great Himalayas and hills.
Day 15: Trek to Hidden Valley Camp
Leaving the Dhaulagiri base Camp you will trek up to Hidden Valley Camp for today. You will reach the Hidden Valley Camp by crossing the French Pass (5360m), from where you will be able to get the panoramic views of Mukut Himal (6328m), Tashi Kang (6386m) and Sita Chuchura (6611m), Tukche Peak (6920m) and beyond is the massive peak of Dhaulagiri I.
Day 16: Trek to Yak Kharka
From the Hidden Camp, you will descend to Yak Kharka by passing the Dhampus Pass (5200m). Reaching Yak Kharka there is a perfect camp site to enjoy the surrounding.
Day 17: Trek to Jomsom
Today you will leave yak Kharka and goes descend toward Jomsom – the Marpha village which is located on the west bank of kali Gandaki River. Marpha is home to many apple orchids as well as all the various food products made from the fruit. You can taste the Apple Brandy en route.
Day 18: Fly to Pokhara
This day you have a flight to Pokhara. Reaching Pokhara you have time to visit around the Pokhara city. You can do boating on the Phewa Lake; you can go David falls and other places.
Day19: Drive to Kathmandu
After having breakfast you will be driven to Kathmandu which takes about 5 – 6 hours or you have an option to go to Kathmandu via flight from Pokara. After reaching Kathmandu, you have free time for enjoy shopping, relaxation etc.
Day 20: Depart Kathmandu
After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take to the airport for your flight home. Or if you want to stay longer for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, and mountain biking, hiking, etc. do not forget to inform us.
