Overview

Annapurna circuit Trek is one of the famous and outstanding, world’s top ten trekking destination trails, located in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Itis popularly alsoknown asaround Annapurna trek or Thorang La pass trek.  Annapurna circuit trek offers the great panoramic views of Himalayas. Breath taking views of great Himalayas like  Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m)Manaslu (8163 m), Annapurna II (7937 m.), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna south (7219m), Nilgiri (7041m), Machhapauchhare (6998m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Lamjung Himal (6986m),Tukuche peak (6920m), Tilicho peak (7134m) etc  are the main attraction of this trek. Annapurna circuit trek cross 332 Km Distance.

Highest point of Annapurna circuit trek is Thorung La pass (5416m). Thorung La pass is challenging trekking pass of Annapurna trekking region. Round Annapurna trek start from Khudi near Besi Sahar it is situated in Lamjung district of Nepal. Due to the difficulties of crossing the pass, the circuit is usually walked in a counter clockwise direction.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, we will meet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your designed hotel. The representative will help you check into your hotel. At the hotel, you will be briefed about your daily activities.

Day 02 - Sightseeing in Katmandu

Kathmandu is the historical and cultural heart of Nepal and has been a popular destination for tourists ever since Nepal opened its doors to visitors. The Kathmandu valley offers you a wonderful mix of Hinduism, Tibetan Buddhism and Western influence. In the morning after having breakfast, you will be guided to visit famous and biggest Hindus Pashupatinath temple, Buddha stupa, Swoyambhunath and in the afternoon having lunch you will visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square.

Day 03 - Drive to Besi Sahar [820m]

This day is important to you because your trek starts from today. In the morning after having the breakfast, you will be driven on tourist private vehicle to Besi Sahar which is located 180 km far from the capital city Kathmandu, inLamjung district in the western north direction. You will reach Besi Sahar after around 6 hours drive from Kathmandu. On the way you can enjoy with the beautiful scenic hills, forest, rivers, local villages and towns.

Day 04 - Trek to Khudi [790m]

From Besi Sahar, we trek along the trail turning right at the canal on the outskirts of the village and descending the narrow path to the Pam Khola. You will ascend towards the village of Denauti where you get to see Nepali village life at close quarters. This trail offers variety of loving scenic views of the Marshyangdi Khola, paddy fields and subtropical forests. Finally you will reach at Khudi which is Gurung village.

Day 05 - Trek to Bahundanda [1310m]

Your destination for today is Bahundanda – the literally means “Brahmins hills” where this hills is mostly inhabitated by Brahmins. As you move away from Khudi, you can catch and see the magnificent Annapurna mountain ranges. Besides that, this trail offers you variety of interesting place and rural villages. On the way you will enjoy with terraced field, waterfall, dense forests and rivers. Finally you reach Bahundanda, where you will be accommodated.

Day 06 - Trek to Jagat [1290m]

Leaving Jagat, you will walk descend until it reaches the river.This route follows the path that consists of lush forest, waterfall, rivers, landscape, hills and some village also where you can observe the village.

Day 07 - Trek to Dharapani [1920m]

Thisis the seventh day of your trekking. Today, as yesterday we walk descend until it reaches the river,further ascent leads to sharp-edged cliff facing the riverbank. En route, Chyamje comes into picture amidst the glorious backdrop of towering Annapurna mountain ranges. On treading along a succession of rock-strewn trails, you descend to a grassy riverbank that leads to Tal and Karte we finally reach Dharapani after crossing a suspension bridge. 
 

Day 08 - Trek to Chame [2630m]

Hike from Dharapani to Chame a distance that will take about 6 hours. The trail now leads to the west in Manaslu it forms an amazing backdrop of Annapurna II which appears occasionally to the south. As you continue, Annapurna range offers a breath-taking view. After reaching Chame you will be accommodated at local guest house.

Day 09 - Trek to Pisang [3190m]

Leaving Chame, this day you follows the path like steep, narrow and densely forest. This will be a wonderful experience that you may enjoy a lot. In the trail you can see the majestic’s views of Manaslu Himal and other Annapurna Himalaya ranges with the great view of Dudh Khola, Marshyangdi River and forests. After passing these places, you will reach at Pisang which is the administrative place of Manang district where electricity, wireless station, schools, shops, health post, post office, police check post, hotels, lodges and banks in Chame. The hot springs are the major attraction of this place.

Day 10 - Trek to Manang [3520m]

Today you will trek up to Manang – popularly said the district outside the Himalaya. You have to   follow the upper Pisang and Geru route, from where you can enjoy with majestic peaks i.e. Annapurna, Pisang peak and other Himalaya, beautiful landscape. On the way you can visit Barge monastery which is largest monastery of the district.

Day 11 - Rest day in Manang [3520m]

Today is rest day you spend your entire day taking complete rest as acclimatization to gain altitude, planning for forthcoming trips and getting habituated to your trekking destinations.

Day 12 - Trek to Letdar [4250m]

This day you will leave Manang after completing the acclimatization & the trail makes an ascent of nearly 2000m to the Thorung La pass. You make the climb steadily through Tenki, leaving the Marsyangi Valley and Jarsang Khola Valley then you will reach Ledar.

Day 13 - Trek to Thorung Phedi [4500m]

Leaving Letdar, you will follow the path as ascent gradually to a ridge before descending to the headwaters of the Marshyangdi; you will follow a narrow trail across an unstable steep slope and then descend to Thorung Phedi. 

Day 14 – Across Thorung La (5416m) to Muktinath [3800m]

Thorang La (5,416 m), an unforgettable experience, is clearly the climax of our Annapurna Circuit trek. You will be huffing and puffing, and at the same time exulting in the experience you will be rewarded with the actual religious site of Muktinath & this area is kept free of hotels and camping sites. Muktinath is a pilgrimage center for Buddhists and Hindus. There we can see Tibetan traders as well as sadhus from the far south of India. There are shrines in a grove of trees including a Buddhists gompa & the Vishnu temple of Jwalamai.

Day 15 - Trek to Jomsom [2713m]

Muktinath temple is one of most important destination for Hindus pilgrimage and Buddhists. In the morning, you will visit the Muktinath Temple, the Lord Vishnu. There is also a Buddhist Monastery nearby. You can see the magnificent views of Dhaulagiri peak from Muktinath. From Muktinath, we continue back to Jomsom.

Day 16 - Flight to Kathmandu via Pokhara

After having breakfast you will be taken to the airport for the flight to Pokara. After reaching Pokhara you will take another flight to Kathmandu or will be driven to Kathmandu via tourist vehicle. The entire day in the capital is free for enjoy some shopping, relaxation.

Day 17 - Depart Kathmandu

After checking out of the hotel, our representative will take to the airport for your flight home.Or if you want to stay longer for short tours i.e. National parks, rafting, and mountain biking, hiking, etc. do not forget to inform us.
